Comments
An exception is Tulipwood or Tulip lancewood (H. pendula ), which occurs in Australia, and which produce trees that are often knotty and irregularly shaped. The tree also produces timber that is very hard, heavy, and tough which make it highly suitable for such purposes as walking sticks, rulers, pen-handles, batons, billiard-cue butts, whip handles, paper knives and napkin rings.
Very little commercial value but note exceptions
